The third painting in my black series. An intricate maze work of twisting stairs, looping, leading to nowhere, within a dense dungeonscape, is here used as a symbol for an overactive mind. Endless thoughts, treading the same ground over and over, leading one astray, and oft times to a dead end, keeps one feeling lost, or even trapped. A lone knight, painted with a motif from THE TOWER card, channels energy directly through, rather than try and navigate the labyrinthine structure. It is here that we find the cure to over thinking; directing of the energy rightly, with aim and purpose.
